Today was the first day of wearing socks for me (this autumn season). As much as I love wearing fine socks I can’t say it was a pleasant feeling to *having* to put the socks on after all these past glorious months of bare-legged life.
At least I made sure they were very perky. And yes they happen to match the dress. Both come from Swedish cultural-auntie-60plus brand Gudrun Sjödén. A place where one now and then might find something quite alright (and colourful) for a cultural-gal-60minus too.
Riding the underground escalator and the shoe per diem were the olive green El Naturalista Tesela Mary-Janes.
PS One of the best things about Stockholm, no matter season, are all the pretty and colourful houses. And they do make quite a fetching scene with today’s bright blue sky, don’t you agree? DS

I love the colour of the sky and the colour of those buildings too – they really are begging to be photographed!
