Today I finally made it to the rather hyped new (opened in May) photographical museum in Stockholm, called just that, Fotografiska. Situated in quite beautiful old industrial premises (which was supposed to host an ABBA museum, not sure what happened to those plans) by the water.

Currently there are three exhibitions on: Annie Leibovitz (which I totally loved!), Sandy Skoglund (colourful, quirky installations which I also loved) and (apparently multi award-winner) Pieter ten Hoopen (who’s work I honestly found to be pretty much laughingly pretentious crap).

I did quite enjoy the walk around the museum, which also has a very stylish and contemporary toilet. All black and red. Loved it. And it did match both shoes (El Naturalista red Tesela double-strap) and raincoat (Danish design, red covered in white birds. The perfect example of that clothes can absolutely make you happy. I don’t need to mention I love it, do I?) per diem, how about that for red perfectness?!

The top floor café didn’t offer much in ways of nice treats, but it did offer the most glorious of water views, so on a day with many oh, ah, loves, behold a piece of the Stockholm inlet ~
