Daffodils! Spring! Whoop!

I went for my first run after the half today, and my legs felt great up until about 4.5km in when they said “nah, that’s enough”. I said “fair enough, you girls can have a rest since you have worked hard lately” and we wandered along together, enjoying the warm sun, smelling the flowers and the sea breeze. It was lovely to bond with my legs again after I was so disregarding of their feelings on Sunday. And it is lovely being able to feel the spring coming. Hurry up already!

So much good stuff in such a wee little post, stace! yay for the first post-half-marathon run (i hope i can go for a run later today too). Also, I like to imagine you talking to your legs so, in my head, you really did say that to them, out loud. Yep.

And yay for spring! I’m about to go for a wander out of the office to find some lunch. Was tempted to be lazy and stay in but looked out the window and whaddyaknow… sun!

Go go! It’s lovely and the sun even has warmth in it! Bonus! Though take a coat, maybe I’m just hot from exercise …

i’ve often found the legs don’t like to go after a race…they much more prefer to be propped up as you’re drinking a glass of wine.

congrats on a job well done!
