19 August 2010 // russian homework

19 Aug

Had my second Russian class tonight. My brain was already exhausted from work and 90 minutes of looking at the cyrillic alphabet and trying to remember how to say things only made it worse. I chose a post-beginners course, thinking I could still remember what I learnt over 4 years ago but it turns out that I have a lot of revising to do. Exciting to be making (slow but steady) progress, though!

Oh man, I am jealous! I took a Russian class years ago and absolutely loved it. Granted, I think I only remember about a dozen words at this point–but I loved the alphabet.
