I’m way behind on my SPD posts. Obviously. That good week in November last year (7-13) I did manage to wear three new socks. Which count as one, two, three of the good things that week.
The left pair and the middle pair are from SockDreams. The right pair from Noa Noa. Shoes, as always, El Naturalista…
this is almost more about the bat-like reflection in the mud puddle of my coat blowing in the wind than it is about the shoes (or boots, as the case may be). red furry bumpers. hopefully, i’ll be able to put them away soon! spring is in the air!

I have been a bit lazy for a while now. I have all sorts of pictures to post but when ever i think of it I am either busy or have trouble uploading or with the Internet. I’ll have to get to it!
I think I have mentioned the socks in Korea before. They are so cute and fun!

My baby class is the Ginkgo class. They are Korean age 4 and so they turned western age 3 this year. Right now there are only three in the class. I love them!!! They are way too cute.
After our Friday fun activity class together I sat with them on the carpet and they proceeded to crawl all over me. ♥♥♥
I went for a nice snow-free walk this afternoon, and then not more than hour later there was snow everywhere.
A snowstorm came out of nowhere (but really it had to be from somewhere) just as I was heading out to grab a bite to eat. I guess I wouldn’t have minded so much, but I was completely taken by surprise.
tho’ our temps have only risen to -3°C and there’s been no actual thawing, big cracks have appeared in the ice. however, it still seems solid and safe for skating. it just looks rather dramatic.

i borrowed one of the big girls’ hockey skates since sabin’s friend was borrowing mine. i can tell you it’s VASTLY different to skate with these than with normal figure skating skates. and it’s NOT better. sabin’s friends will be required to come with their own skates from now on.

i didn’t think we were going to get a real winter this year, but it’s been cold enough for the past the week to freeze over our lake so we can skate again! yay!

pepchen is our new barn kitty. she helpfully stood on my purple furry bumpers for this shot. we wanted a girl kitty for our two boy kitties, but so far, they haven’t realized what a gift she is. come spring, they undoubtedly will. and then we’ll have even more barn kitties!
